About me & my work:

I help foster future-focused, aware and inclusive societies - through multiple platforms, and primarily with the vehicle of arts and cultural engagement.

Within the arts and cultural sector, I am busy with the question of how we can make galleries and museums more inclusive - being relevant to the communities we serve as well as being accessible to those in the community that live with a disability - physical, memory or intellectual. I primarily do this through institutional partnerships to create arts-engagement programs. I use this opportunity as a model for access and inclusion at large.

As an nationally-accredited mediator in work-place conflict resolution, I carry this outlook through various circumstances - coordinating or enabling teams, capacity building, developing strategy and ensuring that we are creating opportunities that are sustainable and inclusive.

I take the approach that for meaningful impact, changes need to simultaneously occur at multiple levels - personal, organisational and community. At the organisation level, assisting in cultural changes that encourage personal effectiveness and collaboration, while building its overall resiliency to handle change and uncertainty. At the personal level, I focus on leadership development, helping people work through what is emerging, and make time to do more of what they are purposeful about.

Broadly, as a keen advocate for developing emotional intelligence, I am curious about how we can embed the idea of empathy in organisational containers. I contribute to this broad agenda via facilitating monthly community meet-ups, workshops, conflict-resolution coaching and advocating for a self-aware society through the vehicle of the arts.
