About me & my work:

I love to research, write and shape information with an eye to the unexpected. I'm lucky to work with amazing collaborators on projects that take me down the rabbit hole of technological innovation and onto the collective dance floor of couples' wedding celebrations. That is, I work with clients as diverse as GE (gereports.com.au) and Bride To Be magazine. One of my passions is helping people to write their own stories and to really enjoy the process. To that end, I joined a partnership to launch the website histography.com. It's a Wonka-esque memoir-generating experience — just answer the provocative questions, add photos, stir and the story of you lands, a beautifully printed book, on your doorstep. With my partner in work, the brilliant Jane Nicholls, I've recently ventured into ghostwriting, for gifted publisher Julie Gibbs at Lantern Books. It's a privilege to get to know an author, and channel their voice and ideas. Jane and I are, generally, on a working adventure with the goal of doing what we love and creating something bigger than the the both of us.

My partner in life, Stephen Balme, and I are also proud part owners of a cafe called Filosofy on the hem of Double Bay's fashion precinct. Our working lives are a challenging mix of writing, coffee, friends, coffee, scraping together development funds, and steering our little families along the path to their own dreams. See you there!
