About me & my work:

I am a freelance designer and arts educator for the performing arts and interior architecture.

I am the Director of Undergraduate Studies and the Head of Design at NIDA (National Institute for Dramatic Art) in Sydney.

I am also a freelance designer with extensive experience earned over many years designing for opera, theatre (all of the major theatre companies in Australia), major ceremonies and other events throughout Australia and the rest of the world.

I conceived and designed the Cauldron & Ceremonial Stage for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and the Cauldron, Ceremonial Stages and a number of Cultural Segments for the Opening Ceremony of the 2006 Asian Games in Doha.

I was a founding director of the architectural firm D4DESIGN formed in 1987 with partners Bill MacMahon and Stephen Roberts. The company took on a wide range of design briefs, amongst the most notable, the design for the multi award winning Rockpool Restaurant in Sydney's Rocks and Regents Court Hotel.

I studied architecture at Sydney University before receiving a Bachelor of Dramatic Art in Design from NIDA.
