Very good at:
About me & my work:
I have spent the best part of 3 decades behind the stove cooking in many wonderful restaurants all over the world. My biggest mark in the sand however, was the beautiful and wonderfully successful Danks Street Depot in Sydney. Out of the kitchen I have been a regular on various media programmes and have written a monthly column for Home Beautiful Magazine. I have represented Horticulture Australia and Slow Food Australia at Terra Madre. I am a published author of a couple of books: Danks Street Depot (2006); and Sharing Plates (2007).
Over the years I have taken my passion for produce and recipes and nurtured it by working closely with industry on many different levels.
In 2013 I decided to step outside of the kitchen to celebrate the magic that happens in the space between the primary producer, grower, farmer and the consumer. It is through Food For People that I will be working on many varied, exciting and always delicious projects. I will be working with different companies, farmers, academics, artists and publications. It's going to be fun!
